Mechanical/Electrical Assessor

SCEI’s long-term customer NBPN is looking for Mechanical and Electrical Assessors to join their Project Services Team. As an Assessor you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers, Project, and Installation Leads on a wide variety of capital and maintenance projects with a focus on safety and reliability. You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for creating work packages derived from detailed engineering products as well as general maintenance planning.   This opportunity is for a minimum of 24 months. 

Requirements:

  • Exceptional comprehension of drawings and engineering products is essential.

  • Planning experience in an industrial setting is an asset.

  • Possess strong technical & computer skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, is essential.

  • Problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.

  • Must demonstrate ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.

  • Acute attention to detail is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering Technologist, Mechanical Engineer, Journeyman Tradesperson or equivalent

  • Electrical Engineering Technologist, Electrical Engineer, Journeyman Electrician or equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience working in an industrial setting is an asset

  • SAP, Microsoft 365, Open Text experience is an asset
