Human resources business partner

Location: Miramichi, NB

Reports To: Director, Human Resources

We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to ensure the efficient execution of day-to-day operations while creating a positive employee experience. This position provides administrative and operational support across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration and HR compliance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across HR functions for all businesses

  • Assist with recruitment and talent acquisition efforts

  • Serve as a resource for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures

  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the organization

  • Maintain HR files and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws

  • Support Corporate HR Initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a partner or generalist role

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships

  • Proven organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
